Tier 1 CRU
A Tier 1 CRU does not require any tools when replacing the affected part.
Tier 2 CRU
A Tier 2 CRU requires one tool, e.g. a screw driver, when replacing the affected part.
Additional remarks
CRUs, Customer Replacement Units, are to be replaced by the customer. If the service contract
with Lenovo states on-site support then the assistance of a technician, that is an SSR (System
Service Representative), can be requested free of charge. If there is no on-site service contract
in place with Lenovo then the assistance of an SSR can be requested. This on-site request has
to be paid for by the customer.
Passive DVI to VGA converter
The passive DVI to VGA converter is shipped with the Lenovo ThinkSystem Analog 1x8 KVM
Switch, 1754-A1T. There is neither an order part number nor a replacement part number for it.
