Connecting the Interface

You may need to set a DIP switch inside the front cover depending on the
selected interface. (
LAN connector
USB connector
RS-232C connector
Using the USB Connector
Connect the printer and computer with the USB cable, and power on the printer
while the computer is powered on.
* It is not necessary to set the DIP switch.
* When number 7 of the DIP switches inside the front cover is set to ON, it is
fixed that only the USB is used as the interface.
Using the LAN Connector
Set number 7 and 8 of the DIP switches inside the front cover to OFF.
* Do not connect the USB cable.
Using the RS-232C Connector
Set number 7 of the DIP switches inside the front cover to OFF and number 8 to
ON.
* Do not connect the USB cable.
