12. Troubleshooting

Problem
The dialer does not dial.
The recipient cannot
confirm the incoming
call.
The dialer calls the
subsequent telephone
numbers despite
confirmation of the call
by the recipient.
Possible cause
Wrong telephone
number.
Incorrect trigger polarity.
Incorrect trigger signal.
Incorrect wiring of the
telephone connection.
Missing dial pause
and/or outgoing line
(usually when
connecting to an
extension).
Incorrect confirmation
settings.
Incorrect confirmation
signal.
Call to a mobile phone.
Incorrect confirmation
settings.

Solution
Check that the number
is correct.
Change the trigger
jumper or trigger signal.
Check the trigger signal.
Check the telephone
connection.
Enter a dial pause
and/or outgoing line.
Check the relevant
programming.
Inform the recipient of
the correct alarm
confirmation procedure.
Poor mobile reception,
change your location.
Check the relevant
programming.
