Triggers

IMPORTANT
All inputs are triggered at either +12 V or 0 V. Select the desired trigger
polarity using the "TRIG POLARITY" jumper on the mainboard (applies
to all inputs). This setting must correspond to the wiring on the inputs!
We recommend using relay or transistor outputs that close in an
emergency (NO contacts) as no additional load resistance is
necessary for the connection. Switching against ground (0 V) or at 12V
is not important here.
The self-monitoring of the alarm zone is an advantage when NC
contacts are used. Triggering is made if these are separated.
7.2.1

Positive triggering

Positive triggering of the inputs can be made using various wiring
types:
0 V DC power supply to the alarm centre or external power
supply unit.
+12 V DC power supply to the alarm centre or external power
supply unit.
Programmable transistor output. Negative switching against
ground (0 V).
