Maintenance
Always disconnect the tap from the power supply before performing any service
on the appliance.
To ensure consistent water flow, it is recommended that you periodically remove scale
and dirt that may build up in the mesh screen filter in the inlet.
On the HOTAP U tap, periodically unscrew the aerator and remove scale and dirt that
may have accumulated in the aerator.
On the HOTAP tap, use the extraction tool provided in the product package to remove the
aerator from the spout, as shown in the figure below. Remove scale and dirt that may
have accumulated in the aerator, and then reinsert the aerator.

Problems
No hot water comes out while
the appliance is turn on.
Outlet water temperature is

Possible causes
No power.
Water flow too slow.
Water flow too strong.
Mesh screen filter on the
water inlet may be clogged.
Aerator may be clogged.
Corrective actions
Check power and cable
connection.
Increase water flow.
Reduce water flow.
Check and clean the
mesh screen filter.
Check and clean the
aerator.
