• Make sure the hole through the counter is large enough for the electric cable to pass freely through it. The cable should also pass easily through the notches in the pedestal and rubber pads, as shown in the installation diagrams. Failure to install the electric cable properly could cause the wires to fray, which will void the appliance’s warranty. -
