Caution: Because the setting characteristics can vary widely across different types of nut from various suppliers, test riveting should be carried out after defining the setting-force value. • Screwing in the blind rivet nuts to be set (see Section 4.1). Insert the blind rivet nuts into the material being riveted using the riveting tool.

    Setting a blind rivet nut • Insert the correctly fitted nut as far as it will go into the hole of the workpiece using the riveting tool. • Start the setting sequence by pressing switch 9. • Caution: Hold down switch 9 until the setting sequence is stopped and the screw-off sequence is started automatically.
