7.4 VS10WRF/VS10BRF thermostat - additional configuration options

7.4.1 Available operation modes

Programmable thermostat
1
VS10WRF/VS10BRF as a programmable thermostat gives possibility to create temperature schedules for whole week. Moreover,
functions such as holiday mode, party mode or frost protection mode are activated/deactivated individually. Thermostat can be
switched between heating or cooling modes via „CO" terminal in the KL08RF wiring centre.
Programmable thermostat - as a group controller (MASTER)
2
When VS10WRF/VS10BRF thermostat works as a MASTER (group controller) it means it takes control of up to 7 SLAVE thermostats
(please see below SLAVE mode description). Within one KL08RF wiring centre can be managed 2 thermostat groups. Functions
such as: setpoint temperature change from schedule, holiday mode, party mode or frost protection mode are managed by MASTER
thermostat. MASTER thermostat controlls SLAVE thermostat only when SLAVE thermostat is in AUTO mode.
Non-programmable thermostat (SLAVE)
3
VS10WRF/VS10BRF as a SLAVE thermostat cannot be programmed (no schedule function). MASTER thermostat takes control
over SLAVE thermostat only if they are in the same group (SLAVE thermostat will work according to the MASTER schedule and
functions like Holiday mode, Party mode or Frost Protection mode will be also shared). SLAVE thermostat can operate
independently if it's not within any group or there is no MASTER thermostat. MASTER thermostat controlls SLAVE thermostat only
when SLAVE thermostat is in AUTO mode.
Hot water timer
4
When thermostat is configured as a hot water timer, it only works as a function of time, not temperature. This mode can be used to
control e.g. hot water.
