Dialing Back

When viewing CID records, you can dial back the numbers showing on the display by pressing t,
s, HEADSET, a LINE button, or pick up the corded handset.

12.5.1 If you have programmed your local area code

If the CID record shows a 7-digit number (i.e. 555-1234), then the call was received from within
your area code. However, this does not guarantee the call is a local call.
If the CID record shows an 11-digit number (i.e. 1-234-555-1234), then the call received was not
from your area code.
2. To adjust the phone number format, press
sometimes cannot be dialed because it requires a 10-digit or 11-digit format. Press
softkey to scroll through 7, 10 and 11-digit numbers.

Call Waiting Caller ID

This feature allows you to see who is calling when you hear the call waiting beep. The caller
identification information appears in the display after you hear the tone.

To connect to the waiting call, press FLASH (on base) or Menu/Flash (on cordless handset)
and your first call will be put on hold.
2. To switch between the two calls, press FLASH (on base) or Menu/Flash (on cordless handset).
IMPORTANT
To use all the features of this unit, you must subscribe to either the standard Name/Number Caller
ID Service or Caller ID with Call Waiting Service. To know who is calling while you are on the phone,
you must subscribe to Caller ID with Call Waiting Service.
