    Set 'Announce Only' On / Off (preset to OFF) If you want callers to leave messages, Announce Only must be set to OFF . If you do not want callers to leave messages, set Announce Only to ON . Follow the steps in the beginning of the Setup section. Turn Audible Message Alert On / Off With Message Alert programmed ON , the Base unit will beep approximately every 10 seconds, alerting you to new, unplayed messages and memos.
