HEADLIGHT BEAM ADJUSTMENT

1. Place the machine on a level surface.
2. Measure the distance from the floor to the
center of the headlight and place a mark on
the wall equal to distance H from the floor.
3. Place the machine from the wall at a distance
D indicated by the chart below.
4. With a person sitting on the machine, apply
the parking brake, start the engine and let it
idle.
5. Turn the headlight to high beam and check
the headlight projection height on the wall.
The projection should be at the parallel mark
on the wall H to 1/2_ down S from the mark.
If not, adjust the headlight angle.

6. Vertical adjust the headlight beam by tight-
ening or loosening the adjusters 1 .
Vertical adjustment
Turn the adjusting screw
Higher
counter clockwise.
Turn the adjusting screw
Lower
clockwise.
7. Horizontal adjust the headlight beam by
tightening or loosening the adjusters 1 .
Horizontal adjustment
Turn adjusting screw
Right
counter clockwise.
Turn adjusting screw
Left
clockwise.
