FUEL DRAINING

1. Put a rag under the carburetor so fuel does
not come in contact with the crankcase.
2. Loosen the drain plug 1 and drain the
standing fuel.
WARNING
FUEL IS HIGHLY FLAMMABLE:
D Always turn off the engine when draining.
D Take care not to spill any fuel on the en-
gine or exhaust pipe(s)/muffler(s) when
draining.
D Never drain fuel while smoking or in the
vicinity of an open flame.
3. Retighten the drain plug securely.
4. Wipe up any spilled fuel.
5. Add fresh, straight gasoline as specified.
Unleaded gasoline:
Pump Octane
Research Octane; 93
(for Europe)

DRIVE CHAIN OIL LEVEL

Oil level checking
1. Place the machine on a level surface.
2. Remove the filler cap 1 and level bolt 2 .
3. Check the oil level flowing from the level bolt
hole 1 .
If not, add oil until it flows out at the level bolt
hole.
Recommended oil:
Gear oil API "GL-3"
SAE #75 or #80
CAUTION:
Be sure no foreign material enter the gear
case.
4. Check the filler cap O-ring, if damaged, re-
place it.
5. Install the filler cap 1 .
6. Wipe up any spilled oil.
