    5 Operation Dentsply Sirona 5.1 Replacing the instrument Instructions for use VDW 6:1 Operation NOTE!  Use only faultless files in order to prevent fatigue fractures of the files as far as possible. CAUTION!  Never pull the patient's cheek back with the contra-angle handpiece! This would actuate the pushbutton, thus creating a risk of burning the patient's oral mucosa.
  • Page 12 ● Work without exerting any pressure on the file. ● The ApexLocator function of VDW 6:1 is used to support the root canal preparation processwhen used in combination with a treatment center with the apex length determination function. With the VDW 6:1 the number of X-rays taken and the exposure to X-rays to the patient and to the operator can be decreased.

    5 Bedienung Dentsply Sirona 5.1 Instrument wechseln Gebrauchsanweisung VDW 6:1 Bedienung ACHTUNG!  Verwenden Sie nur einwandfreie Feilen um Ermüdungsfrakturen der Feilen weitestgehend auszuschließen. VORSICHT!  Ziehen Sie die Wange des Patienten nie mit dem Winkelstück zurück! Dabei wird der Druckknopf betätigt und es besteht Verbrennungsgefahr für die Mundschleimhaut.

    ● Die ApexLocator-Funktion vom VDW 6:1 dient zur Unterstützung des Wurzelkanal-Aufbereitungsprozesses in Verbindung mit einer Behandlungseinheit mit Apex-Längenbestimmungsfunktion. Mit dem VDW 6:1 kann die Anzahl der Röntgenbilder reduziert und die Belastung des Patienten und des Bedieners durch Röntgenstrahlung verringert werden. Machen Sie jedoch in jedem Fall mindestens eine Röntgenaufnahme zur Bestimmung der Aufbereitungslänge.

    Nach jeder Behandlung ACHTUNG!  Führen Sie die Aufbereitung unmittelbar nach der Behandlung durch, spätestens jedoch nach 1 Stunde. ACHTUNG!  Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Dentsply Sirona T1 Spray. ü Tragen Sie geeignete Schutzkleidung. 1. Entfernen Sie die Feile mit einer Pinzette. 2. Führen Sie direkt an der Behandlungseinheit/dem Tischgerät eine Vordesinfektion durch.

    ü Alle desinfizierenden Mittel müssen in Ihrem Land zugelassen sein und nachweislich bakterizide, fungizide und viruzide Eigenschaften haben. Verwenden Sie nur Desinfektionsmittel, die keine proteinfixierende Wirkung besitzen. Weitere Informationen zu Dentsply Sirona empfohlene Desinfektionsmittel finden Sie im Kapitel „Empfohlene Desinfektionsmittel  [→ 20]“. 1. Wischen Sie die Oberfläche mit Desinfektionstücher ab.
