Installation:
15. Loosen the two screws on connecting strap.
16. Hold spring and connecting strap and lower the mechanism with stitch length lever down into the machine.
17. Mount strap on pin and secure it with collar Make sure stitch length lever is exposed through the front of the machine.
18. Rotated the stitch length lever in clockwise direction until the stop (stitch length zero).
19. Mount step pulley back on and tighten the two screws. Adjust the belt tension.
20. Install all the knobs and line them up with the marks on the faceplate.
21. Lift stitch length lever up and line up slide arrow with the zero mark on the faceplate; also the slide arrow should be in the center of
the faceplate slot, tighten screw.
22. Align the connecting strap so that the adjusting hole for the buttonhole is in the center of the rectangular cutout.
23. Tighten the two screws slightly
24. Rough adjustment:
Set Buttonhole "0"
Set Stitch length "0"
Slightly loosen the two screws on connecting strap.
Place a piece of fabric under the presser foot and run the machine. Now turn the buttonhole tool until the fabric remains stationary.
Tighten two screws.
