5. Loosen hex screw three revolutions; stitch length lever will drop down.
6. Loosen the two screws on collar One screw can be reached from the top of the machine.
To reach the other screw, insert a small, long screwdriver into the cut out for the stitch length lever and loosen the second screw at an
angle. The stitch length lever may have to raised or lowered to get to screws.
7. Take collar out of the machine.
8. Unhook spring.
9. Remove the two screws
10. Remove step pulley.
11. Carefully remove the whole stitch length mechanism. Do not apply any force.
