Connecting AHU systems via the AHU Kit to ECOi/ECO G or PACi outdoor
units
The following graphic shows an example for connecting a third-party air handling unit via the
Panasonic AHU Kit to Panasonic ECOi/ECO G or PACi outdoor units.
Air handling unit control by external 0–10 V signal
PACi or ECOi/ECO G outdoor unit
1 This schematic layout applies to the advanced and medium AHU Kit versions only, because they feature an in-built
CZ-CAPBC2 interface handling the 0–10 V control. This enables various control alternatives:
Capacity control through external BMS via 0–10 V signal (only supported by ECOi and PACi, but not
by ECO G outdoor units)
Capacity control through in-built supply air or ambient temperature sensor (only available with ad-
vanced version and only supported by ECOi and PACi, but not by ECO G outdoor units)
Temperature setpoint control
2 As the "light" version of the AHU Kit does not include an in-built CZ-CAPBC2 interface for handling the 0–10 V con-
trol, this schematic layout does not apply to the "light" AHU Kit version.
