If external tension is applied to the DC cord or AC adapter, the wire may
break or a contact failure may occur, resulting in electrical shock or fire.

Wire the end of the DC cord (the side without a plug) to suit the power supply
environment. When using the AC adapter (option), connect the plug to the
outlet.
Attention!
When wiring the DC cord, be careful with the positive (+) and negative (-) wires.
The positive (+) wire is wrapped in a white tube.
Caution
- Make sure that the flow of electricity from the power supply unit has
stopped before connecting the DC cord. Not doing so may cause electrical
shock.
- Make sure that a circuit breaker (a certified product that complies with the
safety standards below for your country) has been installed between the device
and the output of the external power supply unit before supplying power using
the DC cord.
Europe: IEC60947-2
North America: UL489, CSA C22.2 No.5.1
Japan: JIS C8201-2 (Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear)
Other countries: safety standard for each country that is equivalent to
IEC60947-2
