XVME-976 Adapter Module
Default: Only LUN=0 will be the address for each SCSI target.
As an example of command line option usage, consider the case where the
following options are desired: disconnect enabled, parity enabled, synchro-
nous negotiation enable, SCSI target number = 5, interrupt level = 12, and
I/O base address =340h. The following line should appear in config.sys to
effect these options:

Aspidisk.Sys

This driver requires the drive to be partitioned by the AFDISK routine prior
to driver installation (see Section ). If the drive has not been partitioned, the
driver will not load and will display an error message.
Aspidisk.sys has two default values:

Switch Settings

The switch settings need to be considered when using the drivers. Refer to
Tables
3-1 and 3-2. Set the following switch options:
If using the drivers to boot the system, disable the BIOS SW2 positions
1, 2, and 3 all open or all closed.
Set the I/O base address to the level defined by the command line option.
Set the interrupt level to that defined by the command line option.
Enable the hardware interrupts SW2 position 8 open.
The remaining switches have no significance when using the drivers.

Specify /1 to cause all LUNs to be addresses
when determining which logical units are
present on the SCSI bus.

Default: Minimal messages displayed during drive installa-
tion.
Specify /d to
formation during installation.
Default: One logical drive will be reserved for removable
media devices.
Specify /rx to reserve additional logical
drives. The number representing the num-
ber of reserved logical drives is entered in
the position indicated by "x". This com-
mand line option is ignored if
disk is the non-removable type.
