Verify Secure Placement of Sponge
Gently tug on the sponge. If properly seated in the pedestal, the sponge should

not come loose. If it does come loose (Figure 9-19), repeat Steps 1–6 in preceding
section, "Position Sponge in Pedestal.
Other Repairs
Repairs other than electrode replacement in a GSN 200 or sponge replacement in an
HCGSN must be done by a trained EGI Net technician and will require the return of
the Net to EGI for servicing.
In the event that a Net needs servicing or refurbishment, contact EGI Technical
Support (Appendix A). Please disinfect the Net (see page 81) before returning it to
EGI.
