Use your thumb to press the sponge firmly into the pedestal (Figure 9-17).

4 Use a pipette to wet the sponge with water and hold the sponge in place with
your thumb while it hydrates.
Use your thumb or index finger to press the hydrated sponge farther into the

pedestal (Figure 9-18).
Wet the sponge and hold down with

Repeat Steps 4–5, until the sponge is firmly seated in the pedestal.
