Observe the instructions on the respec-
tive original container when using, stor-
ing and disposing off service products.
Always store service products in the
sealed original container. Always keep
service products out of the reach of chil-
dren.

Stop the vehicle on a level surface.
X
Let the coolant cool down for at least
30 minutes.

Open the service cover. (

Check reservoir ; visually.
The fluid level must be between the MIN
mark and the MAX mark.
Topping up the coolant

WARNING
The cooling system is pressurised when
the drive system is at normal operating
temperature. When you open the cap, you
could be scalded by hot coolant spraying
out. There is a risk of injury.
Let the drive system cool down before you
open the cap. Wear protective gloves and
eye protection when opening. Open the
cap slowly to relieve pressure.

Add only coolant that has been pre-
mixed with the desired antifreeze protec-
tion. You could otherwise damage the
engine.

If antifreeze/corrosion inhibitor is present
in the correct concentration, the boiling
point of the coolant during operation is
approximately 130 †.
The antifreeze/corrosion inhibitor concen-
tration in the engine cooling system should
be between 40% and 50% (antifreeze protec-
tion down to -37 †). This will protect the
engine cooling system against freezing
down to approximately -25 †.

Cover cap : of coolant expansion
tank ; with a cloth.
X
Turn the cap slowly one half turn. If nec-
essary, allow excess pressure to escape.

Turn the cap further and remove it.
X
Top up the coolant to the MAX level.
