Initial Operation
The Power LED light up green.
1.
Open your terminal program.
2.
Open the serial interface, to which the INSYS GSM 4.3 I4 is connected.
The baud rate and protocol settings in the terminal program must corre-
spond with the settings of the INSYS GSM 4.3 I4.
The INSYS GSM 4.3 I4 is configured to 19200 Baud, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit
and no parity (8N1) by default.
3.
Enter AT into your terminal program and confirm with the Enter key.
The response will be OK.
If you don't receive the response OK, check the connection and if the INSYS
GSM 4.3 I4 receives power. Repeat the test.
The RX/TX LED light up while you type.
If the RX/TX LED at the INSYS GSM 4.3 I4 does not light up, while you type
AT and receive an OK, the reason may be that you are connected to another
modem (e.g. with the modem integrated in the laptop or the PC).
In this case, check to which interface your INSYS GSM 4.3 I4 is actually con-
nected and repeat the test.
The INSYS GSM 4.3 I4 is successfully installed and ready for operation.
