Password Prompt
On: The system will prompt the user for a password
(except in Remote Admin. mode).
Off: The keyboard remains locked until the correct
User Password is entered.
Dual: "On" function after the system wakes by the
power switch; "Off" function after an unattended wake
up.
Default is Dual.
Administrator Password
Set Administrator Password
Select this line to set, change, or delete the
Administrator password. Once an Admin. password
is set, you will be prompted for this password before
access to the Setup Utility is permitted. Default is
Enter.
NOTE: To delete Admin. password, enter blank fields
for each New Password line item.
Require Admin. Pass. when Flashing
Default is No. If No, the Administrator password will
not be required when updating the system software.
User password changeable by user
Default is No. If Yes, the user will be able to change
the User password with an Administrator password
set. If No, the user will not be able to change the
User password with an Administrator password set.
Require User password on warm boot
Default is No. If Yes, the User password will be
required whenever the system is restarted. If No, the
User password will only be requested when the
system is started with a cold boot.
Asset ID
This enables wireless RF communication for AssetID.
IBM Security Chip
Default is Disabled. This option allows you to enable
or disable the IBM Security Chip feature. When
