appears on the LCD instead of the channel number. Names can
be callsigns, repeater names, names of people, ect. You can
select only one memory channel to appear on the LCD display or
select all memory channels to appear. Of cause, this naming can
also to be operated by programming software.
■ Switching/Setting/Amending/Clearing Memory Channel
Name
1.In MR/CH mode, press [MENU] key to enter menu system.
2.Use [UP]/[DOWN] key to select Menu No.21, then press [F] key
to confirm.
● Only in MR/CH mode, press [F] key to enter next menu. If in VFO press
[F] key, you can't enter the next menu.
● The next menu will appear on LCD display.
3.Use [UP]/[DOWN] key to circularly select from the following:
SYS EN: show/ no show all memory channels' name (Default:
ON).
CHR EN : only show / no show the current memory channel
name (Default: OFF).
NAMINH:setting/amending/clearing memory channel name.
4. Then press [F] key to enter next menu setting mode.
◆ If you select SYS EN, "ON "(Default) will appear on LCD display, It
means all the memory channel names will be showed. You can use
[UP]/[DOWN] key to select show or no show , then press [F] key to
confirm your selection, the transceiver will return to menu system.
◆ If you select CHR EN, "OFF "(Default) will appear on LCD display, it
means the current memory channel name will not be showed. You can
use [UP]/[DOWN] key to select show or no show, then press [F] key to
confirm your selection. The transceiver will return to menu system.
Note:
● When you select SYS EN OFF(that is to no show all memory channels'
name), all memory channels' name will not be showed even if you set a
separate memory channel's name to be showed.
● When you select CHR EN OFF(that is to no show the separate memory
channel's name), the separate memory channel's name will not be showed
even if you set all memory channels' name to be showed.
