Bracket and the Drive
Housing to the Cutting Unit
Units With a Universal Groomer
Drive Kit Only
Parts needed for this procedure:

Flange nut (5/16 inch)

Flange-head bolt (5/16 x 1 inch)

Procedure
1.
For units with groomers installed, remove and
retain the cap.

Secure the assembled drive-side bracket
and drive housing to the cutting unit with 2
flange-head bolts (5/16 x 1 inch), 2 flange nuts
(5/16 inch), and a retaining ring as shown in
Figure
14.
Note:
This step applies to units both with or
without a groomer.

Hex-socket screw

Procedure
1.
Use 2 hex-socket screws (1/4 x 3/4 inch) and 2
locknuts (1/4 inch) to install the bearing cover
onto the bracket assembly on the non-drive side
(Figure
15).
