Preparing the Machine

No Parts Required
Procedure
1. Park the machine on a level surface.
2. Engage the parking brake.
3. Lower the cutting units.
4. Shut off the engine and remove the key.
5. Remove the cutting units from the machine;
refer to your cutting unit Operator's Manual.

Changing the Configuration
of the Kit
No Parts Required
Procedure
The kit is configured for installing the drive assembly
on the right side of the cutting unit
Right Drive Configuration
1. Nut
2. Bearing cover
3. Left bracket
4. Bolt
5. Assembled parts
6. Flocked seal
For cutting units requiring the drive assembly installed
on the left side of the unit, change the configuration
as follows:
Note:
Retain all parts for future assembly.
1. Rotate the assembled shaft collar, bearing,
and flocked seals in the bracket so that they fit
through the slots, and remove the assembly
(Figure 2).
