Conduct a Self Test
To verify the operation of the M9383B VXG-m, conduct a Self Test.
Before running a Self Test, make sure that the instrument is powered on, and all
cabling is correct.

1. Launch the M9383B application.
2. Check the front panel LEDs of the M9383B modules. Refer to
States.
3. Click the Gear
icon on the top right corner to open the System dialog win-
dow.
4. Select Diagnostics.
5. Click Run Self Test.
If the Self Test passes (see results below), go to
Output Signal.
If the Self Test fails, it indicates that the instrument is likely to need service.
