ROLLING-HEIGHT RANGE AND PATIENT TRANSFER RANGE
FULLY FOLDED POSITION
Transfer the patient to the cot, or roll the cot, with the
patient surface 12-30 inches (30-76 cm) above the
ground. Do not roll the cot at its highest level - rolling
the cot in a loading attitude can increase the chance
that the cot could become unbalanced and tip.
Fully fold the cot to place it in an ambulance or to
transfer a patient from the ground onto the cot. The cot
can also be rolled in the fully folded position if needed.
