Water Leak Sensor application uses

The OneVue Water Leak Sensor is designed to support a wide range of applications and placement options.
Application uses
Monitor areas to prevent serious interruptions to your facility's systems or a loss of assets.
• HVAC and Electrical Rooms
• Computer & Network Communication Rooms
• Storage areas with sensitive assets or inventory
Water Detector placement
• Where leaks or overflow of water are possible
• Where there is a multitude of signal cables and power
• Where there is highly sensitive units or systems
• Around the edge of interior walls
• Around any potential leaking objects
• Water Detector cord length is 13 ft. (3.9 m). Perimeter being monitored can be expanded by daisy chaining up to a
maximum of four Water Detectors.

HVAC boiler unit monitoring example

It's important to place a Water Detector in the proper location. Water tends to puddle at the lowest point of the floor and
underneath pipe junctions and HVAC units.
Computer & Network Room monitoring example
For larger areas, it's recommended to connect several Water Detectors along the entire perimeter of the floor or in the
area where the assets being monitored are located.
