Connecting the Modem Cable to the
Telephone Line
• Plug one end of the RJ-11 modular telephone cable into the
RJ-11 receptacle on the modem cable, and the other end into
an analog (single-line) RJ-11 telephone wall jack.
Note: The EtherJet CardBus Adapter with 56K Modem does not
work with digital telephone lines or digital PBX systems
and is designed to protect your modem against damage
from inadvertent connection to a digital line.
