Connecting the Network Cable to the LAN
Adapter Cable
Plug the network cable into the female RJ-45 connector on the
LAN adapter cable, as shown in the Figure 1-3.

Power-Saving Mode

The EtherJet CardBus Adapter is designed for very low-power
consumption, minimizing the computer's battery drain. The Ether-
Jet CardBus Adapter automatically senses when the LAN cable is
detached and reattached, and it goes in or out of a lower power
mode accordingly. This maximizes battery life.
