Installing the Hardware Insert the EtherJet CardBus Adapter with 56K Modem 1. Grasp the CardBus Adapter by the edges with the IBM label facing upward and the wide PC Card connector next to the insert slot. 2. Insert the card into a CardBus Adapter slot and push it in until it is firmly seated.
Connecting the LAN Adapter Cable to the CardBus Adapter • Attach the 16-pin connector at the end of the IBM adapter cable to the matching receptacle on the left side of the Ether- Jet CardBus Adapter with 56K Modem. Press the connector gently into the receptacle on the card until it’s firmly in place.
