Chapter 1. Overview The 10/100 Mbps Ethernet PCI Adapter II is a 32-bit 33 MHz high-performance expansion adapter card for systems adhering to the Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) and IEEE 802.3 standards. The adapter connects the system to an Ethernet LAN at either 10 Mbps or 100 Mbps data rate.

Understanding the Adapter LEDs The LEDs on the 10/100 Mbps Ethernet PCI Adapter II provide information about the card’s operation status. The LEDs are visible through the card’s mounting bracket and, when they are lit, indicate the following conditions: 100 TX LED (green) Indicates the adapter is operating at the 100 Mbps data rate.
