6.14.18 To disassemble and assemble the
crankcase check valve
1. Remove the crankcase check valve. Refer to
remove and install the check valve in the crankcase
on page 39 .
2. Remove screw (A) to disassemble the check valve
assembly.

CAUTION: Make sure that the flat spring (B)
and the stroke limiter (C) are assembled
correctly when you assemble the check
valve.
3. Examine the parts for wear and damages.
4. Assemble in the opposite sequence.
CAUTION: Use threadlocker on the screw
when you assemble.
6.14.19 To disassemble and assemble the piston
1. Disassemble the engine. Refer to
the engine on page 38 .
2. Use a piston pin puller to remove the piston pin and
the piston.
