V. Replacing the Hard Drive
To replace the hard drive, complete the following procedure.
Note: It is recommended that you save all packing materials received with
your replacement hard drive. You will need them to return the defective
part.

Caution: Dropping the hard drive may cause damage to the hard
drive and/or loss of data.
1. Reconnect the hard drive data cable 1 and power
cable 2 to the replacement hard drive (see Figure 5-1).
