Replacing high-pressure rail

Warning – Risk of burns
Risk of severe hand burns from the hot sur-
face at the high-pressure rail.
Allow the high-pressure rail to cool down.
Wear protective gloves.
1. End all PC applications.
2. Shut down and switch off the PC.
3. Switch off the EPS at the master switch.
4. Remove all hoses and high-pressure hoses at the
high-pressure rail.
5. Join the two hoses for rail cooling (inlet and return)
together.
6. Detach all connecting cables at the high-pressure
rail. Sever the cable tie for attaching the connecting
cable to the guard plate from the rail.
7. Remove both threaded connections (Pos. 1).

8. Position the high-pressure rail (Pos. 2) on the
retaining bracket of the installation panel.
9. Attach the high-pressure rail with the threaded
connections (Pos. 1) to the retaining bracket.
10. Attach all connecting cables to the high-pressure
rail.

When connecting the DRVs, make sure connector
1 is connected to DRV 1, connector 2 to DRV 2 and
connector 3 to DRV 3.

On attachment, make sure all connectors are
properly engaged.
11. Connect the hoses and high-pressure hose to the
high-pressure rail.
12. Calibrate the high-pressure rail (refer to Section 7).

The high-pressure rail is ready for operation.

Replacing pressure limiter

1. Remove the high-pressure rail from the installation
panel (refer to Section 6.4) and set down on the
clamping bracket of the EPS 815.
2. Screw in both threaded connections on the
underside of the high-pressure rail.

3. Guide the threaded connections of the high-pressure
rail into the slot of the clamping bracket and set
down.
