Recording measured values

1. Call up the "Protocol" selection menu with <F2>.
2. Select the "Restart test" menu item.
3. Call up the "Measurement functions" selection
menu with <F7>.
4. Select the "Automatic on/off" menu item and acti-
vate the automatic mode function with <F12>.
? The automatic mode symbol flashes in the operat-
ing status display.
? The specified values are set and the waiting/
measurement time commences. On completion of
the waiting/measurement time, the system soft-
ware switches automatically to the next test step.
5. In the event of the message "
further test step! Results with F12
>>.
", call up the protocol with <F12>.
6. Print out the protocol with <F3> and "Print".

If print-out is not possible, note down the measured
values on a sheet of paper.

Entering calibration values

1. Exit from the "Result printout" dialog window
with <Esc>.
2. In the "Injection component test main menu" start
screen select <F7>.
? A password request appears.
3. Enter the password in the input line:
4. Confirm the entry with <F12>.
5. Select the menu item Calibration >> Rail pressure
sensor.

From EP software version 2011/A (EPS 945 version
3.45) onwards, the measured values are already
entered in the software. In this case, save the result
with <F4> and proceed as described in section 7.9.
6. Transfer the measured values for Test bench pres-
sure value, Test bench press.val. upst.of filter and
External pressure value (refer to Fig. 38) for the
following test items from the test protocol to the
software: "Low", "Position 5" and "High"
Enter "----" in the appropriate boxes for test items not
available.
7. Save the entry with <F4>.
? The calibration date is updated.
