Installation Service
The Lxx library has been designed with simplicity and safety in mind to be completely customer installable.
The Lxx can be successfully installed by carefully following the installation and operating instructions contained in
the User' Guide (part number 95961).
The customer can request StorageTek to install the unit and StorageTek would do this for a fee.
This service includes hardware installation, configuration and validation testing and includes taking the library
through the self-test and attaching the drives. If equipment is outside the radius (80km) of a STK service centre,
StorageTek will charge T&M rates, or has the option not to deliver.
