9.1.3 Create a device
Navigation: Administration > Projects > Project Alpha (selected project)
In the selected project, click the plus
and select "Create new device".
For the basic configuration, you only need to
select your "Device Type" and enter a unique
device „Name".
You can create your own name for the Device.

Following are allowed:
Numbers: 0 to 9, A to Z, a to z (avoid blanks)
Letters: A to Z and a to z
Characters: Point, hyphens and underscores
After saving your settings you will be
automatically redirected to the device
settings.
For the initial configuration here the
"Interfaces" menu is relevant.
