This chapter introduces MT180 general and advanced settings.

General Settings

Press F1 button to enter the terminal menu.
Press F5 button to enter the General option.
There are five options available as follow.
Sys Info Query
Card Info Query
Add Finger
Modify Card PIN
Long Time Door
Enter the Sys Info Query option. You can get the terminal information.
There are five options described as follow.

Card & Finger
Enter the Card Info Query option. Follow the on-screen prompt to swipe your card. The screen dis-
plays your card number, user name, user number and group number presetted in JanitorLite or MTTool.
Enter the Add Finger option. Follow the on-screen prompt to swipe your card. The screen displays an
Operation Notice. Follow the operation notice to put you finger on the fingerprint reader. Each card
allows to enroll a maximum of three fingerprints.
Enter the Modify Card PIN option. Follow the on-screen prompt to swipe your card. The screen dis-
plays "Input old PIN". Using the numeric keypad to enter your card password and then press F5 button
to confirm. The screen displays "Input new PIN". "Input again". The screen displays "Modify Card PIN
Success" upon successful modification.

On-Screen Setting
Displays the terminal location, #Controller 01, by default.
Displays the terminal firmware version and serial number.
Displays current operation mode, Access Mode, by default.
Displays the modules status of Flash1, Flash2, Finger, Reader1,
Reader2, Voice, and Network. If the module operates normally, the
screen displays "ok"; if not, the screen displays "error".
Displays the maximum card/ fingerprint capacity and current card/ fin-
gerprint count.
