The G8272 contains the following switching ports:
 Forty-eight 10 GbE Small Form Pluggable Plus (SFP+) ports
 Six 40 GbE Quad Small Form Pluggable Plus (QSFP+) ports

Forty-eight 10 GbE SFP+ ports are available on the front panel.
By default, the G8272 has its SFP+ ports 1 to 48 configured at 10 GBit/s.

Six 40 GbE Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable Plus (QSFP+) ports are located on the
front panel.
A QSFP+ port can be configured into four 10 GbE breakout ports.
By default, the G8272 has its QSFP+ ports 49 to 54 configured at 40 GBit/s.
