Connecting the pipes

● Hold the pipe with one wrench while
tightening the connections with a torque
wrench. Be careful not to damage the flare
nut threads.
● If the tightening torque is insufficient, gas will
leak from the connection.
● If it is too great, the flare will be damaged.
Tightening torque is as shown in the table.

Flaring method

Cut the pipe to the proper length with a pipe

cutter.
It is recommended to cut it about 30 ~ 50 cm
longer than the estimated piping length.
Remove burrs at the end of the pipe with a

pipe reamer.When reaming, hold the pipe end
downward and make sure that no copper scraps
fall into the pipe.
Do not let the inner area of the pipe be

exposed to air for too long.
Compressor oil is very sensitive to moisture.

Tightly seal the pipe end.
Remove the flare nut from the unit to mount it on the
5
pipe. Make a flare at the end of the pipe with a flare tool.
· No burrs should be left at the end of flare.
