Removing a fan tray
Replace the fan tray in an 8306 and 8310 chassis when the existing a fan tray fails to work.
Procedure steps
1. Loosen the two retaining screws that fasten the fan tray into the chassis.
2. Grasp the captive screws and gently pull until the green power LED on the fan tray
3. Wait 10 seconds for the fans to stop turning. Pull the fan tray from the chassis.

Caution:
Risk of injury
Grasp the fan tray at the middle of the front panel. Be careful to keep your fingers
away from the fan blades.
