INTRODUCTION Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE submersible pump. Before attempting to use the pump, please read this manual thoroughly and follow the instructions carefully. Note: When the pump is being used in a permanent or semi-permanent installation, a check valve must be fitted in the delivery hose. Suitable hoses are available from your Clarke dealer. The oil must be cleared to prevent any possible harm to pond life. Disconnect the pump from the electrical supply, remove it from the pond and clear the oil, then contact your CLARKE dealer for advice.
