7 Power supply system SITOP PSU8600
Note
Note that remote parameterization by means of the HW configuration is only
effective if you have set the "REN" DIP switch (1) on the device to the "ON"
position.
Configuring symbols
To interconnect the driver block of the control program with a symbolic address at a
later time, parameterize the I/O addresses of the basic module using symbols.
The procedure is as follows:
1. Select the PSU8600 in the hardware configuration.
2. Highlight module "UPS1600 xxA PN" on slot 0.2 and execute menu command
"Edit > Symbols...".
3. Parameterize a symbolic name (1) on the first input word.
4. Compile and load the hardware configuration.
