Step 4. Setting the SCSI address

The SCSI address is a unique address that identifies the 87691VX Tape Autoloader
and drive to your system. The autoloader and the drive that is installed in it each
must have its own unique SCSI address. The 87691VX Tape Autoloader is shipped
with the autoloader SCSI address set to 0 and the drive address set to 5. If you
want to change these settings, use the operator panel and display screen on the
front of the device (see Figure 2 on page 2).
To set the autoloader SCSI ID, complete the following steps:
1. On the operator panel, press the Down a Level button to access the main

Step 5. Connecting the SCSI bus cable

To connect the SCSI bus cable, complete the following steps:
