Installation
Mounting the HUB Communications Manager
The GSLC provides mounting holes to support a HUB Communications Manager.
To mount the HUB Communications Manager to the side of the GSLC enclosure:
1.
Locate the mounting holes on the side of the GSLC enclosure as shown in Figure 6 on
page 14.
2.
Align the HUB (vertically) over the mounting holes with the HUB's ports facing forward.
3.
Take the mounting screws provided with the HUB and insert them from the outside
into the GSLC enclosure.
4.
Tighten until secure, but do not over-tighten.
5.
Remove the knockouts, add bushings, and install CAT5 cabling as needed.
6.
Install the HUB's protective shield.
