Loosen the hose clamp (Fig. 103).

Pull the fuel filter out of the bottom and the top

hoses.
Install a new fuel filter by observing the flow di-
l
rection.
Bleeding the fuel system
Danger

Fire hazard!
Do not bleed the fuel system while the engine
is hot. Fuel may drip onto the hot exhaust.
In the following cases the fuel system needs to
l
be bled: after changing the fuel filter, after run-
ning the fuel tank dry, after a long resting peri-
od of the machine.
