Child restraint seating options
Mass Group
(As indicated on child safety seat packaging)
0 = Up to 10 kg (0 - 9 months)
0+ = Up to 13 kg (0 - 18 months)
I = 9 to 18 kg (9 months - 4 years)
II & III = 15 to 36 kg (4 - 12 years)
U = Suitable for 'Universal' category restraints approved for this mass group.
L = Suitable for particular child restraints, detailed in the table alongside. These restraints may be of the specific
vehicle, 'restricted' or 'semi-universal' categories.
