User Setting
In the SNMP settings screen, enable the SNMP v3 support function
and click [User Setting] to open the page shown in the following
diagram.
Item Description
Register a new user. Click to open a dialog box
New for editing the various settings for a user.
Up to five users can be registered.
Change the settings of the selected user. Click
Modify to open a dialog box for editing the various
settings for a user.
Delete Delete the selected user.
Display the settings of the selected user. Click
Detail info to open a dialog box for browsing the various
settings for a user.

Clicking [New] or [Modify] in the user settings screen opens the
following page.
Item Description
Set a user name within 32
characters.
You can use single-byte letters,
numbers, hyphens, and underbars.
User name
An error appears when you press
the [Apply] button if the name is
already being used or contains
illegal characters.
MIB access Set either [Read/Write] or [Read
restrict only] as the user rights.
Authentication Specify MD5 or SHA1 as the
algorithm authentication method.
Set an authentication password
using 8 to 16 characters. You can
use single-byte letters, numbers,

Encryption Specify DES or AES as the
algorithm encryption method.
